Am I understood?

No, I'm not going to post the Relient K song "I am understood?"

It's just that I often say things that I mean as a complement or encouragement, and end up hurting someone's feelings, or embarrassing myself. And unfortunately, the persons who I tend to do this with are good friends. And then I tend to misunderstand what the problem is, and try to fix it the wrong way... Does anyone else have this kind of problem?

I just want everyone to know... I don't try to insult or hurt people. I just don't.

I had a pretty good day other than that. CP went well... we're almost done with introductions, now. =)

I'm still trying to decide whether I want to get a new amp, a MIDI controller, or a Zoom portable microphone...

Peace! Love y'all!

I can completely relate. I don't necessarily feel like I'm always /being/ misunderstood, but I always wonder if I am. I guess it's because I'm not the most eloquent person ever and even though I'm pretty out going, I'm not really dramatic. So, I guess I don't show emotion or I don't express my self that well. idk, it's confusing.

And I too, feel like it tends to happen with my good friends or a with someone who I'm trying to get to know.

So yeah...very confusing. But I totally understand where you're coming from.

As a note of encouragement though, I have never once been hurt or offend or insulted by anything you have ever said. =)

Well...sounds like you've got a hard decision there. All that sounds neat. I don't think you can make a wrong decision =P

The thing is that this has happened more than once in the past few days and it hadn't happened very much before that... not fun, really. =(

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has that kind of problem, though...

I didn't think I had. =)

Well, as I only have probably 150 to (maybe) 300 dollars to spend on this, I can definitely make a wrong decision. But I will probably be happy with whatever I choose, anyway.

Aw, I'm sorry. That's rough. :/

Yeah, that's always sort of reassuring to know that other people have the same struggles sometimes =) Or at least it is for me.

Hm, well, I don't believe my opinion would be of any help. I always hate making be decisions with my money, haha. So, I'm assuming you already have an amp, but just want a better one? Do you already have a mic or MIDI controller?

I'll be okay. I'm trying to work it out now. =)

Yes, I have an amp. It's just not very loud. But, I did figure out yesterday how to make it louder without blowing the speaker. =) I might be able to afford both a mic and a midi controller, actually... and I don't have either of those. Anywho, I'll pray about it a bit. =)

oh yeah...the louder the better =P Oh, that would be cool. Yeah, praying about it is an awesome idea =D
